During the last few months, Italy has been struck by a consistent number of tragedies that have left families and businesses in shambles. One of the most recent ones is certainly the disaster happened near Ancona, the main town of the Marche region. Between the 7th and the 8th of December, a fabulous night event hosted at the famous local disco club Lanterna Azzurra turned into a nightmare for all its participants. The night was devoted to the concert of the well-appreciated Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta, number one on many music platforms in Italy. The majority of those who attended the concert were teenagers, sometimes accompanied by their parents.
During the rapper performance someone, still to be correctly identified, unexpectedly used a pepper spray, causing great havoc among all the participants. Everyone tried to climb their way out of the main area where the spray was used, but a section of the stage suddenly collapsed under too much weight, causing the death of 6 people, 5 teenagers, and one young mother, while many others were left severely injured. The authorities are still investigating on who is to be held responsible for the event, while some theorized that the organizers sold too many tickets compared to the numbers allowed by safety regulations.
While the investigation is still running its course, many public figures from all over Italy are speaking their minds about the situation, which is not so peculiar in the Italian music industry. One voice, in particular, is drawing a lot of attention: the one of Lord Conrad, a famous music composer, and Dj that has earned its way into the Olympus of the Italian and international songwriters thanks to his many successes. Lord Conrad was, of course, tremendously saddened by the event and thus decided to use his music as an instrument to help heal and recover all those who were affected by this tragedy but to also send a message to the youths of our society.
The famous artist has deemed appropriate to dedicate his new single Only You to all the victims of Corinaldo. His latest hit holds a powerful message of hope, of strength and desire to be alive, to live a good life and to stay away from pitiful and distracting dangers. The international star gave a very relevant statement for his fans and his followers: “With immense sorrow I dedicate my music to the victims of Sfera Ebbasta’s concert in Ancona in order to help raise public awareness and I also send a message to all the youths. A tragedy of that kind shall never happen again. I join all the Italian musicians so that all that may happen no more and we will do everything, together, to increase security and make concerts safer.”
Lord Conrad then added: “What I say to the youngest of my fans is to follow their dreams with persistence, to follow their passions, put all of your effort, love and excitement in your goals in order to affirm yourself and not in dugs, violence and envy that will bring you to an assured failure.”
In the meantime, Lord Conrad is enjoying a well-deserved increase in popularity thanks to his recent selection as a representative of dance shuffle music on the famous channel Elements (a channel with more than 1 million users) next to superstars like Dj Snake and Alan Walker.
